Kinesiology is a gentle Holistic Therapy that taps into the Knowledge and Wisdom of your own body, to balance Energy, heal past trauma and resolve present problems.

One of the many ways we can shift our energy towards achieving what we really want is working with the Chakras – a network of spiralling energy centres throughout the body. 

Their function is to push life energy or ‘chi’ through the body rather like the paddles of a pinball game pushing balls along.   In order to do this, they need to be free-flowing and clear, but they can become blocked by stressful thoughts and unhealthy lifestyle choices. 

When this happens energy is not able to move along as it should and our emotions may become unbalanced. We cannot seem to think straight, we feel ‘sluggish’ and become more susceptible to illnesses. 

The Chakras take in, process and move along energy all the time.  As our thoughts are energy, if we are negative in our thinking, our Chakras take on a heavy, toxic load and become affected as a result.  They become dirty, dense and are no longer able to push energy along – like a stream being blocked by fallen trees, dirt and rocks.

Although the body has many Chakras, the most well known are the seven major or primary energy centres, and they are each found next to a hormonal gland. 

The Chakras all spin in a clockwise direction, and at a different rate from each other.  The lower ones are concerned with the ‘material’ world and spin at a slower rate than the ones in the head and upper body, which are focussed on spiritual issues.

How can Kinesiology help to clear the Chakras?

The body indicates through gentle muscle testing which (if any) Chakras are blocked, and in the same way, the body will indicate what it needs to correct the imbalance.
